To identify these issues, I undertook a thorough analysis process. I compared the website with industry standards and top-performing golf club websites worldwide. I used Adobe XD for the design process, which helped me create a streamlined and intuitive interface. The tool’s prototyping feature allowed me to simulate the user journey, ensuring a seamless experience for the end-user. One of the significant changes I implemented was introducing an online booking system. This feature simplified the process of reserving tee times, making it convenient for members and visitors alike. The brief was to create a new modern e-commerce website with an online Green Fees booking system and a subscription function to streamline and automate memberships.

The website is an e-commerce platform powered by WooCommerce, which utilises two essential plugins for managing subscriptions and online bookings. We appreciate WooCommerce’s scalability and affordability, making it a preferred choice for our business.
The user experience, or UX, has been carefully considered and crafted to ensure that the navigation and journey for a website user is as easy, intuitive and enjoyable as possible. The site includes several design features, such as an online shop page (for green fees and membership subscriptions), a members-only area, a news section, a download course map, an events calendar, course information, and a contact us page.
The design of the site was centred around Ventnor Golf Club’s brand voice – community-minded and friendly. We wanted to ensure that the content within the website was engaging and informative while being easy to access and navigate on any device.
Search Engine Optimised (SEO).
